BRITISH IRANIAN BUSINESS & PROFESSIONAL SOCIETY
Brian D'Arcy Clark
Director - Savills
Brian D'Arcy Clark, joined Savills in 2007. Following formal training, Brian joined what is now Savills in 1978 and obtained his qualification as a chartered surveyor two years later. He then set up his own company, Chesterfield, and with David Forbes set about trying to raise the standard of agency in central London. Brian was responsible for the professional side of the firm's services looking after valuations, leasehold advisory work and of course investments, rentals and management.
On a more general front Brian is a founding director of CLEA, the body representing the central London estate agents which set up and still runs The London Magazine. It was from this base that he, along with Victoria Mitchell, began the process of establishing Primelocation, remaining on the board as a founding director until its subsequent sale to the DMGT group in 2004.
Chesterfield began to be clearly recognised as one of the leading agencies in central London and Brian was delighted when Savills announced the further expansion of its business with the acquisition of his company in December 2006.
Becoming part of an international marketing organisation was the obvious next step for Chesterfield and with a global network of over 200 offices and associates worldwide, Savills was the correct match.
Prior to setting up The Private Office to cater to this broader selection of Savills clients, he continued to work in the prime central London markets for Savills.
