The evening consisted of a discussion by the esteemed panel on the European tech scene and its standing on a global scale. Panelists Leila Rastegar Zegna, Eze Vidra, Rob Kniaz and Shirin Dehghan contributed to a compelling discussion chaired by Anjoman's very own Omid Ashtari. The event was hugely oversubscribed once again, and unprecedented in attendance.

Europe is now competing with Silicon Valley in creating global tech companies. Our September event will therefore feature a panel with leading London Venture Capitalists with the topic: Can the European Tech Ecosystem eclipse Silicon Valley?
Leila Rastegar Zegna is an entrepreneur turned investor. After spending 10 years in
Eze Vidra was the founder of Campus London, Google's first startup hub and later joined Google Ventures as General Partner. Most recently he joined Remagine Ventures as Managing Partner.
Rob Kniaz is a partner at Hoxton Ventures, an early stage venture fund whose successes include investments in Darktrace and Deliveroo. He was previously at Fidelity Ventures and spent his career initially as a Product Manager at Google.
Shirin Dehghan is presently Senior Partner at Frog Capital, a VC fund that invests in software tech companies in Europe. She was the Founder and CEO of Arieso and spent 20+ years in the software and mobile communications industry.
Anjoman's very own Omid Ashtari will be chairing the event. Omid is currently, President and Head of Business at Citymapper and business adviser to Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London. Before that he was Managing Director at Foursquare Europe leading BD, Strategy & Management. Omid mentors entrepreneurs at Techstars, Seedcamp, the Mayor's International Business Program and is non-exec Director and investor in various startups.
